RevivalGen Leadership Camp will kick off at James River Church and then the campers will be shuttled to the James River Campground. Parents are encouraged to join students for the Family Dinner and Service on Sunday evening.
NO CELL PHONE POLICY
To create a distraction-free and engaging environment at camp, we implement a no cell phone policy for all students.
Check-In & Return
+ All students are required to turn in their phones at check-in.
+ A removable sticker with the student’s name will be put on the phone for easy identification upon return.
+ Phones will be securely stored and returned upon arrival at the church after camp.
Exceptions
If a student has a medical condition requiring phone access (such as diabetes management or other health needs), they must note that on the registration form or email [email protected].

+ What makes RevivalGen different from other camps?
RevivalGen offers a premium camp experience with integrated leadership development. You’ll enjoy all the adventure of summer camp—lake activities, team competitions, Mud Mountain challenges—while also receiving focused leadership training from experienced ministry mentors.
+ What do I need to pack?
Packing List
-Bedding (pillow, twin sheets, blanket, or sleeping bag)
-1 towel for swimming, 1 towel for showering
-Toiletries
-Pajamas
-1 rec/play outfit per day for team activities (t-shirt and shorts)
-1 mud day outfit and mud day shoes (will get muddy)
-1 water day outfit (no white shirts or shorts)
-Clothing for evening services (for each day)
-Swimsuit (girls – no two-piece allowed)
-Underwear (two sets per day)
-Closed-toed shoes for team activities
-Flip flops or shower shoes
-Casual shoes for services and free time
-Bible/notebook/pen (if you do not have a bible, we will have one available)
-Bug spray and sunscreen
-Spending money for snack shack/merch (optional)

-Water guns or Water balloons
Any student found with illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, improper use of prescription drugs, alcohol, vapes, fireworks, or weapons of any kind will be immediately sent home at their parents’ expense.
+ How do I get to camp?
RevivalGen provides special transportation from James River Church to the campground.
Check-In will be at 3pm in the James River Church SOUTH CAMPUS YOUTH CENTER on the first day of camp.
Campers will return at approximately 4pm at the James River Church SOUTH CAMPUS YOUTH CENTER
+ How are medications handled?
All personal medications (prescription and/or over-the-counter), vitamins, herbs, essential oils, and enzymes MUST have a doctor’s order and be brought in the original pharmacy labeled container or the original manufacturer’s container to the first aid station at check-in.
- Prescription medications MUST have the camper’s name on the bottle.
- Please limit the amount of medication to only what is required for the camper’s term.
- Please make a note on the medical form and alert medical personnel at the first aid station during check-in of all allergies or medical conditions.
- Each camp will have two professional medical personnel to help students with medication or injuries.
+ Where can I find the Medical Provider Permission form?
+ Where is the campground and what are the facilities like?
The James River Campgrounds are located an hour and a half east of James River Church South Campus (30 minutes northeast of Mountain Grove, MO).
- The campgrounds include a chapel, cafeteria, leaders’ lodge, swimming pool, lake, and separate boys’ and girls’ dorms with indoor showers and toilets.
- Your student will be housed with their teammates and leaders in bunk-style dorms.
+ What is the food like?
A professional and caring food team prepares three delicious, healthy-sized meals every day. We also feature a “Snack Shack” where students can purchase items such as candy, chips, soft drinks, etc.
+ Will I be at camp with other non-RevivalGen students?
Yes! RevivalGen Leadership Camp operates as a premium experience within our larger James River summer camp. You’ll enjoy the energy and community of our full camp environment while also receiving exclusive RevivalGen benefits, including a VIP arrival experience, specialized leadership training, access to speakers and mentors, and other premiums. This design intentionally prepares you for real-world ministry leadership within community settings.
+ Other rules and regulations
We reserve the right to inspect contents of all personal belongings if due cause arises.
- Improper contents will be held by camp staff and returned to parent/guardian(s) at the end of camp.
- All campers will be expected to observe habits of personal cleanliness, respect for camp staff and other campers, and refrain from using foul language, including cursing and crude humor.
- Charges for items broken/damaged or stolen during camp will be billed to the parties/individual involved.
- If a student is sent home early due to sickness, behavior, or discipline issues, should camp leadership determine it is necessary, there will not be a refund given.
